Cerise was formed in 2020 after the sale of our business, The Cherry Companies, for the purpose of providing consulting services utilizing lessons learned from the growth of our own family business and to locate investment opportunities. At the time of sale The Cherry Companies which specialized in Demolition services in the commercial, residential, interior and Industrial sector, recycling of concrete, asphalt, shingles and tires, Stabilized batch plants, roll off and transportation services was one of the 10 largest demolition companies in the United States and the largest recycler in the state of Texas.

Leonard Cherry – Owner/President
As owner and principal of Cherry Companies with forty-two years of experience and an extensive knowledge of operations, Leonard Cherry’s
management expertise and hands-on approach were responsible for the ongoing success and continued growth of the company. Since 1985, volume increased from $500,000 to over $175,000,000, and Cherry’s family of companies achieved a national position of leadership in the fields and markets they serve.

Cody Wagoner – CFO
With an extensive background in banking and finance, Cody Wagoner began his career at Cerise Family, LP in 2023 as CFO. He is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company which includes accounting and financial reporting as well as investment opportunities. Prior to Cerise Family, LP, Cody worked for the Cherry Companies for 13 years in various management positions and 11 years for Wells Fargo/First Community Bank.
Drew Svec – Real Estate Manager
Drew Svec is a graduate of Texas A&M University and joined Cerise in the summer of July 2021 as the Real Estate Manager overseeing and managing all properties owned by the company and clients. In addition, he coordinates and manages all real estate transactions, construction projects and performs accounting duties in support of financial operations.
Amy Elkins – Office Manager
Amy Elkins began her career with Cherry Companies in 2002. She worked in various positions in the accounting department until 2015 when she took the role of Executive Assistant to Leonard Cherry. In 2020, when the Cherry Companies sold, she made the move to Cerise Family, LP to continue working for Leonard and the Cherry family. Amy is now responsible for various accounting, payroll, HR, and administrative operations.
